Check out this video of emergent leader Brian Mclaren on the doctrine of Hell. His claim is that hell does not exist and it is out of character for God to ask us to forgive but does not forgive those who rebel against God Himself. God tells us not to murder but what happened to Ananias and Sapphira when they lied to Peter? God struck them both dead. Am I to call God a murderer? No, God makes the rules not us. We don't get to put God in a box of our own mind and hold Him accountable to it. It is like telling my two year old that you can't use the butcher knife but obviously I can and my son turning around and saying thats not fair, I should have the same rights as you. Ridiculous.

Saying there is no hell is a lie from the father of lies, there is absolutely no doubt that Brian Mclaren is a false teacher and we know who he serves, the ruler of this world. Run from this man and his heresies. This video speaks for itself.



God hates sin. I wonder if Brian even believes in the account of Noah. God wiped the whole world clean except for 6 people!!!! There is judgement, there is hell for those who reject Christ.

Revelation 2:10 says He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death.

What is the second death that Christ is talking about? John tells us further in Revelation 21:8

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

Who is it that overcomes the second death? 1 John 5:5 Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Either Brian Mclaren is a liar or Jesus is a liar. I am betting on the truth of Jesus. If there is no hell why did Jesus die on the cross? Why do I need to be saved from the second death if there is no hell?

I have read another diatribe from one of the emergent church supporters on the attack of terms used to describe believers vs unbelievers (iamjoshbrown.com). The amount of bad theology in his post is pretty frightening. Again, no scriptural evidence supports his ideas but rather he uses terms such as, “I think”, “I have a strange suspicion”, “God doesn’t think like that”, “God doesn’t need” and so on. Now these statements in themselves are not necessarily wrong however does he support anything he says with scripture to verify what God does say? Unfortunately, no, not a single scriptural reference is given to any of “his” ideas. Today in the Christian community some of the most basic and plain truths of the Bible are being challenged. I have read and listened to people who are claiming there is no heaven nor hell. They are not real places and the kingdom of heaven is found here on earth. The people who are making this claim are not atheist but people who claim to be Christians living for Jesus.

Why are these basic foundations of the Bible being challenged by people.? How do you possibly read scripture and say there is no heaven or hell? I have been dialoging with some interesting so called Christians who have a very twisted view of scripture and what it means to be a Christian. They write and say that they feel it is perfectly fine to use foul and degrading language. Most of these gentleman are part of the emergent church and claim to be living their lives like Christ commanded. But instead of their "cool" worldliness they are going directly against the Word of God. Roger Oakland gives an outstanding presentation on the emergent church. After watching this video my heart becomes burdensome for the lost who are buying into this false form of Christianity. I highly suggest watching through the whole thing because it will give you a much deeper understanding how the emergent church is attacking Christianity and making a mockery of God's Word.

Over at Pyromaniacs they have created some of the most funny post modern posters I have seen. They model the inspirational posters we have all seen. The emergent movement is challenging truth and more importantly they say we can’t even know what truth is.

If you know nothing about the movement you should really take a hard look at it because this is a huge attack on the Bible and the church.
