Paul pleads with us in 2 Corinthians 5:20 to be ambassadors for Christ.

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

We are representatives of Christ. When people look at us and see how we behave, talk, and act we are proclaiming Christ through our actions. The great majority of preachers found on TV today preach a prosperity gospel. Their message states if you give them money by sowing a seed, God will bless you with more money than you can imagine. They don’t preach about sin and how we are to be holy like our Lord and Savior wants us to be holy. Or how we are suppose to pick up our crosses and be willing to die to ourselves. What they are doing to God is making Him out to be a cosmic magic genie who if I rub Him the right way I get the jackpot.
