Eschatology

I have struggled time and time again with so many
varying opinions on end times Eschatology. We know
who wins in the end but how we get to Christ’s
final return has been a much debated topic of
theology.
If we look at the current popular dispensational view. The Tim Lahaye left behind series which pretty much most evangelicals teach have left me with some real concerns on their teachings.
Hank Hanagraaff has released a new book called the Apocalypse Code that has finally answered many questions that I have had regarding end times. I want to address just two of them here which Hank goes over in his new book.
1. According to Tim Lahaye and other dispensationalist the anti-christ is going to be killed then resurrect himself. My question to this statement is how do I know the Jesus on the cross was not satan impersonating God? If he can do it have we been fooled? Wouldn’t everything in the Bible then be a lie?
2. Another concern I have had is understanding in the gospel accounts where Jesus says the following Luke 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Tim Lahaye and others say this generation is not the one that Jesus is speaking to but some future generation. How can this be when it seems ridiculous that he would be talking about some generation in the 21st century? Is Jesus referring to His second coming in this passage? Or is He referring to something else happening?
Hank answers both of these questions and so many more not by speculation but by using the old testament scriptures. He verify' scripture with scripture than some man made interpretations. I can’t recommend the book enough for how to answer these and other questions about end times.
He also covers a lot of hermeneutical principles on how to read the bible for all it’s worth. Check it out.
Let me know if you want the answers to the above questions!
