This is a two part post. The first part is a short video of a mainstream emergent church pastor, Doug Pagitt promoting yoga. He feels that yoga is a good thing for Christians to partake in. I am surprised he doesn’t suggest us to head down to the local mormon, hindu, buddhist, or islam church’s and spend some time with another false religion. Just crazy. At least John MacArthur provides an opposing view.



The second part of this post is a great little article at Answer in Genesis with Pastor John MacArthur discussing more of the issues with the emergent church. MacArthur writes:

“They are saying, in effect, that God may have spoken, but He mumbled, and we’re not really sure what He said. Saying that Scripture is not clear is just another way to undermine biblical authority,” MacArthur explains...

The attack on truth is not coming from enemies of the Gospel message outside our Church walls. But the attack on truth is coming from the inside of the walls fast and furiously. If we can’t rely on scripture how do I even know Jesus died for my sins? How can I know anything about God’s sovereign plans? God’s Word is Truth and the Truth will set you free!
