Do you belong to a men’s small group studying through the bible? If not I would encourage you more than anything to get involved in your local church’s men’s ministry.

It is a place where we can discuss those hard issues and help each other with the problems we face as men. It has made me more accountable and I have learned a tremendous amount from my fellow Christian men. I have learned from past mistakes of others and more importantly I have seen how godly men really live their faith out.

It will encourage you to dig deeper into God’s word and learn more about Him. It will answer question about being the spiritual leader in your home. You will find out what it means to love your wife like Christ loves the church. Plus it’s what God wishes for in our lives. In Proverbs 27:17 the author writes.

As iron sharpens iron,
So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

The only way I am going to sharpen myself is through God’s word and through other godly men.
